Area Info : Killington
The
Killington Group
The Killington Group handles a number of great rental properties
in and around the Killington area. These great rentals are in
the heart of great fishing opportunities on the Otter Creek,
Ottauquechee, Furnace Brook, East Creek, Neshobe River and a
variety of other mountain streams. Perfect location for booking
a couple of days on the water, short drive time and never have
to fish the same piece of water twice.
Cozy
Cottages of Brandon
Located minutes from the Neshobe, one of our favorite wild trout
streams in VT, and the Otter Creek the Cozy Cottages offer privacy
and comfort tucked up against the mountains of central Vermont.
The town of Brandon has become a hub for the VT art scene as
well as a dining destination. Within a short ride of Killington,
Rutland, and Middlebury the cottages offer access to many non-fishing
activities for those not interested in casting a fly (if that
person even exists, we don't think they do).
Rutland/Killington
Holiday Inn
This has been somewhere that many of our guests have stayed
while out with us. Located close to great streams and downtown
Rutland it offers access to a lot of activities for those non-fishing
hours.
Wise
Vacations Rentals
Wise Vacations in Killington showcases over a hundred vacation
rental properties. Choose form private homes, condominiums,
townhouses, resorts, log cabins, and more, in and around the
Killington area. Many of the private homes have hot tubs and
accommodate larger groups. Other summer features include tennis,
pool, and spa onsite. The knowledgeable staff will help you
pick the perfect place for your group.
Brandon
Motor Lodge
Located just 20 minutes from both the Killington area waters
and Middlebury area waters this is a great jumping off point
for any trip. Every client we have taken out has come back to
the Lodge with each trip and they all speak highly of the rooms
and owners.
Huntington
House
If you want a beautifu location, great food, and a trout stream
across the road this is the place. Located across from the upper
White River in Rochester, VT, right off scenic Rt. 100 the Huntington
House is a hidden gem. I have been lucky enough to dine here
a few times and despite the hour ride from my house, I make
it a point to get back. One of the few places we guide guests
from where the people are torn between staying on the river
for the hatch or getting back to the dining room.
