Who We Are : John Synnott, Guide, Instructor

August 2011

This season has been great so far. I have enjoyed seeing our regular clients and showing off some new waters and new species that we are offering. Adding some warm water fishing for species like pike, bowfin and bass has really given me a shot in the arm and put new challenges out there to be mastered.
I have also noticed the overall improvement of the trout stocks in VT the past two seasons. We have seen a lot of improvement in the size of fish on waters we have been guiding for years and it's resulting in some great action for clients.
On a purely personal note my goals this season are to land a bonito/albacore and a musky over 40" from my kayak. I have had my shots and will continue to work it hard in my free time.

OK, so it was a private pond.
