Guided Trips

Stream and Brook is pleased to be able to offer a number of angling experiences to our clients. From a traditional Walk and Wade to Canoeing on a mountain pond for Trout or chasing Pike and Bass! Stream and Brook Fly Fishing is happy to accommodate your needs. We use only the highest quality equipment: Sage, Orvis, LL Bean, Rock River Rods, Patagonia and Simms.

Included in all of our guided trips is the use of our gear. Including waders, boots, fly rods, reels and flies. Feel free to bring your gear as well.

We are very kid friendly and encourage everyone to try fly fishing! Ask about kid rates.

Walk and Wade
We will spend either a full or half day exploring the rivers and streams of Vermont on foot. Vermont has and abundance of beautiful free stone streams and rivers that provide excellent dry fly, nymph fishing & tossing streamers. At Stream and Brook we do our best to make sure that the experience is as enjoyable as the instruction. Whether it’s stalking brookies in the cool mountain streams or casting clear across a river to a sipping brown we are there to support. Or tempting hungry Smallmouth Bass with streamers. We are happy to build these trips around your schedule.

Vermont’s Other Fish from a Canoe
From Lake Champlain to small ponds Vermont has some less known species that can provide some amazing fly fishing action. Many of these are warm water species that offer an alternative to trout streams in the heat of the summer. Besides Trout we offer trips that focus on fish like Northern Pike, Bowfin, Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass with a couple other species, as opportunities present themselves. These are all fish that can reach large sizes and we fish with 8-10wt rods. These trips will be done in a canoe so we would be limited to one angler per guide. As the guide paddles the canoe and keeps the client in the best spots to cast to big fish. The guides for these trips are limited as well so plenty of advance notice is appreciated. We can also bring you to Trout ponds and lakes and target them form a canoe.

Otter Creek Canoe Trip
Take a slow float down the Otter in search of: rainbows, browns, pike, bass. This is a chance to see part of this great river that most people never get to see and fish runs that might get hit a few times a season. Fishing from the canoe and stopping frequently to fish some of the deep bend pools and gravel bars you will have prime access to some great water. These trips will be done in a canoe so we would be limited to one angler per guide. As the guide paddles the canoe and keeps the client in the best spots to cast to big fish. The guides for these trips are limited as well so plenty of advance notice is appreciated.
