This was a great year for Stream and Brook, both for our guests and ourselves. The season started early with some nice steelhead action that blended into some great smallmouth fishing. The spring hatches were running a little ahead of schedule, which was awesome, and fish were fat and happy right through June. The mid summer record heat wave was brutal on trout fishing but fantastic for some warm-water species and we took full advantage of these. If you have never targeted fish like pike and bass or even bowfin on the fly you should consider it for the "Dog Days". However, the hightlight of the season came September through all of October. This was one of the best Land Locked seasons I can ever remember and combine that with trout that were eager to make up for a summer of just trying to breathe and you got a lot of action.

Thanks again to all of you that fished with us or sent in some reports over the past season. We look forward to getting out again next year. Have a great winter and remember, there is a lot of open water through the winter so don't stash that rod, IT'S NEVER OVER!!!!
