Fly Fishing School
Our weekend and weekday Fly Fishing Schools start with a one
to two hour casting lesson depending on your skill level. We
are proud to have guides and instructors that can work with all
abilities.
Our two day school will teach you how to cast with
a smooth, effortless rhythm. Our instructors will teach you
basic knot
tying, on-stream strategies, and basic entomology. We will
teach how to “read” the water and where to position
yourself to best present the fly.
You will learn where and
why trout hold where they do. More
specifically you will learn which situations and conditions
require a dry fly, nymph, wet fly or streamer. Additionally
we will show you different methods for casting into those tough
to reach spots.
The schools can be scheduled
to fit your needs. Day one
is split between off and on water instruction. Day two
is spent entirely on the water.
The goal of our Fly Fishing
Schools is to provide you with skills that you can take anywhere
in the country.
Each person $350
Two days of private instruction both on and off the water.
